I am 17 weeks and 2 days along today.
Details:
The fetus is about 6 and 1/4 inches long and weighs 4-5 ounces, about the same size as the placenta. The eyes are more forward than on either side of the face now. The baby's ears have started to pop from his head and lanugo is beginning to appear on your baby's head and body.
12 days until my 19 week ultrasound... when we will officially (well hopefully) know the gender of our baby!
Patrick is stressed out about that day. We want a boy so badly... but I have convinced myself that another girl will be fantastic as well. Names are the stressful subject for me. If this is to be our last addition the name is so important. I absolutely hate all the boy names we've talked about. Patrick is particular as well about the girl names! So? We wait.
